Ritchie Grant started working as a radio presenter in 1997 at a new commercial station called Waves Radio based in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire and broadcasting on 101.2FM. Also at the station he voiced many adverts through the years.

Towards 2000 he then voiced adverts for Grampian TV in Aberdeen which was broadcast throughout the region. In 2003 Ritchie was approached to voice a series of adverts for a new company to be aired on both radio stations Northsound 1 and Northsound 2.

Into 2004 Ritchie left his long standing Friday night show on Waves Radio after over six years to move onto other projects.

Ritchie has since moved onto Northsound 2 and can be heard every Saturday from 7 to 10pm.
